Ahh, to be a kid in Jackson Hole…Whether they are enjoying a hands-on learning experience in Grand Teton National Park during the summer with the Teton Science School, or in a traditional school setting, kids in Jackson have great educational opportunities. In fact, Teton County School District has the highest graduation rate in the state, and that’s because we consciously chose to target a 100 percent graduation rate. Currently we’re at about 98 percent. According to a Washington Post article dated January 8, 2015 Wyoming schools are the 3rd highest education spenders in the nation spending $16,000 per student.
Parents, teachers and an engaged community have worked together to make Teton County schools one of the best districts in the State if not the nation. The Teton County School District and its citizens hold rigorous standards and demand high academic achievement. In addition to our public schools there are excellent private schools providing Jackson residents and their children with many great choices.
